Background:

3PAR Utility Storage was developed to serve as the storage foundation of utility computing and was designed to work together with server virtualization technologies to create a complete utility computing environment. When they approached us about their website, they needed it optimized for additional search engine visibility and wanted to get more leads.

Challenge:

3PAR experienced difficulties with generating leads to the website. Another issue that should have been addressed is the cost of the leads.

Strategy:

One of our tasks was to optimize their site page by page with targeted keywords.  We needed to create a smart link campaign that will support the SEO efforts and get more traffic through search engines to the site.

We decided on these tactics: PPC, SEO, Reputation Management, International PPC (Japan, Germany, UK), International SEO (Japan), Blog Optimization, Conversion and Usability, Analytics

Results:

PPC Results: Over approx. 5 months, we have been able to decrease 3PAR’s cost per lead from paid search by 60%, while at the same time increasing monthly lead volume by 80%. The client also reports that search lead quality is very good!

The client has recently renewed their multi-year contract with us and expanded the work to include international PPC and SEO.

SEO Results: While we can’t reveal specific phrases in this case, the following quote from Craig Nunes, 3PAR’s VP of Marketing is an accurate description of the early success our SEO efforts have had:
